Questions

01

Do I need to speak Hungarian?

Not for every job. Festival and event staff, English-speaking hostess and promoter roles, and warehouse work often do not require Hungarian. Each job ad says which languages are needed.
02

Can foreigners work here?

Yes, if you have the right to work in Hungary. EU citizens can work without a separate permit; others need a valid work or residence permit. Casual work is registered by the employer (simplified employment, EFO) - you do not have to file anything.
03

How much does it pay?

Typical gross hourly rates: hostess about 3200 Ft, bartender about 3100 Ft, waiter about 2900 Ft, promoter about 2700 Ft. The exact rate is always in the job ad.
04

What does it cost?

Nothing for workers - no fee, no card. Signing up takes 30 seconds; you only need your email.
05

When does it start?

We are opening in waves, starting in Budapest. Join the waiting list now and create your profile, so you can apply with one tap on launch day.
06

How old do I have to be?

At least 16. Under 18, the rules for young workers apply (for example, no night work).
